This Refund Policy explains how DuckGift handles cancellation, replacement and refund requests for electronically delivered gift cards, prepaid codes and similar digital products.
1. Digital products are different
A code can often be redeemed immediately after issue. Once a valid code has been delivered, exposed or redeemed, it may not be possible for DuckGift, Reloadly, the issuer or the merchant to cancel it. For that reason, completed digital-product sales are generally final except where this policy or applicable law provides otherwise.
2. Before fulfillment
If an order has not yet been fulfilled, DuckGift may be able to cancel it. Cancellation is not guaranteed because supplier requests can be processed quickly or asynchronously.
3. Situations we will review
We will review a request when payment succeeded but the supplier did not issue the product; the supplier confirms the transaction failed; DuckGift delivered the wrong product or denomination; a newly delivered code is confirmed invalid before use; a duplicate charge resulted from a verified technical error; or a refund is required by law.
4. Situations normally not refundable
We normally cannot refund a valid digital product because you changed your mind, selected the wrong brand, value, currency or country, entered the wrong recipient email, cannot use the product with your account, shared the code with another person, sent it to a scammer, lost access to the delivery email, or the code has already been redeemed or transferred.
5. Invalid-code claims
If a code appears invalid, stop attempting redemption and contact support. We may request your order number, screenshots of the merchant error, the attempted redemption time, the relevant merchant account region and other information required by the supplier or issuer. Do not post or send the code in an insecure public channel.
6. Failed Reloadly fulfillment
When our system receives a supplier failure after a Stripe payment, DuckGift can attempt to create a refund through Stripe for the affected item. Refund processing time after a successful refund request is controlled by Stripe, the card network and the issuing bank.
7. Partial orders
If an order contains multiple items and only some fail, successfully fulfilled items remain completed. We may refund only the failed portion.
8. How to request help
Email support@duckgift.com with your DuckGift order number, product name, value, recipient email and a concise description of the problem. We may ask for additional evidence needed to investigate with the provider.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact support before filing a chargeback so we can investigate delivery records and supplier status. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restrictions. Nothing here limits a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized transaction.
